School Safety Roles Worksheets, Poster, PowerPoint and Infographic
From the time your kids walk out of the door in the morning until they arrive back at home, many people are working to keep them safe. I have just finished a new resource that highlights some of the roles kids encounter day to day while going to school in regards to their safety. It includes a poster, an infographic, a PowerPoint presentation and a few worksheets for the lower grades.
You can watch a short video and download the stuff here:
Roles in School Safety from Jean-Yves Marsolais on Vimeo. I’m giving member of my email list free access to all items. Here is what is written about teachers:
Your classroom teacher and special area teachers all look out for your safety as well. They might remind you not to run or they might guide you in practicing an evacuation drill. During any kind of emergency, your teacher will lead you safely.

I know this poster does not cover all individuals involved in school safety, such as EMS, Firemen, inspectors etc. This has nothing to do with their importance in kids safety. I emphasized roles that were more obvious and visible to school kids from day to day. My intention is to eventually produce a similar poster for “The less present but just as important” people.
Have a look at one of the worksheets:
As usual with my stuff, you can get it printed wherever you would like and save as much money as you can. If you want to make a poster for a classroom or schools, go right ahead, I’m told that the size is fine by a huge office supply chain store.
